2013 Race Results

We hope to make Christmas a little brighter for needy children in the New Haven area by giving them not only a toy, but the message of love from friends and neighbors they have never met.  Over the years, our race has given over 50,000 toys to children.

Thanks to all the runners and volunteers who help make the race a huge success again!

CHRISTOPHER MARTINS THANKSGIVING DINNER FOR THE AREA HOMELESS AND WORKING POOR FAMILIES

Every Year on Thanksgiving Day, Christopher Martins Restaurant opens its doors for up to 500 working poor and homeless people. We serve a full 3 course sit-down turkey dinner as well as providing take home packages of canned food, toiletries, and clothing. Dinner is served on linen draped tables in our dining room and pub by uniformed waiters, just as it is served every other night of the year. This past Thanksgiving; with the help of our friends from the community, we served 470 meals, a substantial increase from the past several years. Thanks again to all of the volunteers who helped make a nice day for those in need. If you would like to attend our annual Thanksgiving dinner, know someone who should attend, or need to arrange for transportation, please call the restaurant at: 203-776-8835. As always,

The restaurant will be accepting all donations starting the Monday before Thanksgiving. Please bring any canned goods, toiletries, clean blankets and clothing to: Christopher Martins, 860 State Street New Haven CT.
